Collections Survey

The State of New Jersey has embarked on a collaborative digitization project focusing on State and local history collections that are located in libraries, museums, historical repositories, and other cultural heritage institutions. We are asking for your cooperation in identifying collections that your institution owns that would benefit by being part of this project. Please tell us about your collection(s) that cover some aspect of New Jersey history/Jerseyana and meets one or more of the following criteria:

  • Rare or unique
  • Fragile or deteriorating (needs new form of access to preserve originals)
  • Important to educators and educational users (kindergarten through life-long learner)
  • Important to genealogical and/or history researchers
  • Popular resource at your institution

We urge you to take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the questions on the online survey before starting. Utilize this worksheet (PDF file) before completing the survey online.
