The collection of the New Jersey Digital Highway consists of digital reproductions of primary source materials (photographs, oral histories, etc.) fixed in image, text, video and audio formats (collectively referred to as "NJDH Collection").
Digital objects in the NJDH Collection have been made available after a copyright, permissions and usage rights evaluation. Individual objects in the NJDH Collection may be protected by copyright. You are permitted to make use of an object in the NJDH Collection under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 2.5 license, as provided below.
Each object must be separately considered for further re-use beyond the uses specified in the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 2.5 license. If other uses are not specified in the catalog record describing the object, you must contact the rights holder for permission for further use.

Contacting the Rights Holder
The organization or agency owning the collection may or may not be the rights holder. However, the organization or agency owning the collection is the best starting point for discovering and locating the rights holder. The collection owner will be identified in the catalog record for each digital object. You can usually identify the collection owner in the collection field or in the name field of the catalog record. Contact addresses for owning institutions can be found in the New Jersey Cultural Heritage Institutions section of this website: http://www.njdigitalhighway.org/cultural_heritage_ever.php
